June 17, 2009 --If you're thinking of sending an e-card this Father's Day, watch out. You could fall victim to hackers. E-cards are affordable and convenient this time of year for graduations, weddings and Father's Day. But experts warn e-cards are also being used by hackers to distribute dangerous software to your computer.
To protect yourself, the American Greeting Card Association says do not open e-cards from unidentified senders and delete cards that include attachments.
