Rosebud on Rush catches fire

June 23, 2009 (CHICAGO) The blaze began at Rosebud Restaurant in the 700-block of North Rush Street late Monday night.

The fire apparently began in the kitchen, which is located on the second floor of the building.

Diners and workers had to leave the restaurant. The restaurant owner tells the Chicago Tribune that Los Angeles Dodgers Manager Joe Torre was one of those who had to leave. The Dodgers are in town to play the White Sox.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

It's not known how long Rosebud will remain closed.
