Britain-bound jet diverted to Chicago

July 3, 2009 (CHICAGO) Flight 78 apparently encountered problems with its generator just a couple hours into its flight.

Chicago firefighters were on standby as the Boeing 767 approached O'Hare. During the landing, the brakes on one of its landing gears apparently overheated and started a small fire. That fire was quickly extinguished. No one aboard the jet was hurt.

All of the passengers were placed on another jet bound for London.
