Cole accused of violating parole

Tony Cole was released from the Cook County Jail last month. He had been in custody for violating an order of protection.

Stroger said Cole was fired from his county job because he lied about his criminal record.

Chicago police say they arrested Cole on June 24 for refusing to leave Roosevelt University. The Cook County State's Attorney has filed a motion to increase Cole's bail.

A judge issued warrants for Cole for violating conditions of his release on the earlier case.
