July 11, 2009 (CHICAGO) --
Millennium Park is a hot destination in the summer, and the family fun fest makes it extra special. As part of the annual Great Performers of Illinois Festival
, there are activities, entertainment and performance art throughout the park.
Among the attractions is a corn maze, something you don't see every day in downtown Chicago.
It's made up of more than 1,000 stalks of corn that are around six feet tall.
Corn is a staple to the economy of Illinois, which is what the maze is meant to represent.
