July 15, 2009 (CHICAGO) --People with two City of Chicago parking tickets that are more than a year old should beware of the boot. Chicago is on a booting blitz. In the three months since the city council's controversial decision to go after motorists with two unpaid parking tickets, the number of vehicles to get the Denver boot has increased nearly eight-fold, to almost 3500 vehicles.
Previously, the threshold for applying the boot was three unpaid tickets.
