A semi-trailer truck carrying approximately 50,000 pounds of bread rolled over in an accident Friday morning on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90). The semi was westbound on I-90 when it collided with a minivan and rolled over into a ditch about 5:30 a.m., said an Illinois State Police Tollway District master sergeant. The driver of the semi and the occupants inside the minivan suffered non-life threatening injuries, the master sergeant said.
The master sergeant said the semi truck was loaded with 50,000 tons of bread. As of 7:30 a.m. all westbound lanes on I-90 remain open.
