July 18, 2009 (CHICAGO) --The late comedian and actor Bernie Mac was among this year's inductees to the Hall of Fame of the Chicago Vocational Career Academy.The Hollywood star, formally named Bernard McCullough, graduated with the class of 1975. The comedian from the South Side was recognized for his success and pride in Chicago Vocational. His wife, Rhonda, spoke on his behalf to accept the honor and got emotional as she remembered her husband.
Bernie Mac passed away nearly one year ago.
Other Hall of Fame inductees included Dr. Terry Mason and Juwan Howard.
