Alert issued in alleged child abduction attempt

July 28, 2009 (CHICAGO) According to police, the incident took place while the teenage girl was walking in the 11500-block of South Michigan Avenue. The suspect was driving a tan colored Dodge mini-van when he allegedly pulled up to the victim. He allegedly began fondling himself and tried to lure the girl into his car. Authorities say the victim ran to a nearby business and reported the incident.

The suspect is a male black, 30-35 years of age with a light complexion, according to police. He was wearing a black t-shirt and was last seen driving a tan colored Dodge mini-van.
