State regulators shut down Harvey bank

State regulators have shut down Mutual Bank of south suburban Harvey.On Saturday, all twelve locations will reopen as branches of United Central Bank which is based in Garland, Texas.

Accounts will still be insured by the FDIC and customers will still be able to access their money by writing checks, using their debit cards or making withdrawals at an ATM.

Mutual Bank is the 69th FDIC insured bank to fail this year and the 13th in Illinois.
