August 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) --Hundreds of people were sitting on pins and needles at the ballpark on Wednesday night. And it wasn't because of the excitement of the game. It was Stitch n' Pitch night at U.S. Cellular Field.
Two-hundred knitters fought to keep their eyes on the ball while focusing on their handiwork. They had their own section to knit the night away and root for the Chicago White Sox.
Stitch n' Pitch is a program of the National Needle Arts Association.
