About 50 cats found in Chicago home

August 7, 2009 (CHICAGO) A concerned neighbor tipped off police to the cats inside the home near 111th and Albany.

Animal control workers took about 50 cats to their facility on the city's West Side. They'll return to the home again to look for more cats Friday.

A police investigation is now underway. Officers issued a citation to the homeowner.

Vets will be checking out the cats for any health issues.
