Police said the man approached a teller, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The teller handed him an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled on foot.
Anyone with information about the man should call Park Ridge Police.
Police search for 'Winnie the Pooh' bandit
August 11, 2009 A surveillance camera took the pictures of the man Friday afternoon. The suspect was wearing a green Winnie the Pooh sweatshirt when he robbed the Chase Bank branch on South Northwest Highway in Park Ridge.
