Future of Burr Oak still being sorted out

August 14, 2009 (CHICAGO) A hearing was held Friday at the Daley Center. Attorneys are believed to have discussed the status of funds that were frozen following the discovery of double burials as well as the future of the property.

"The receiver is preparing a detailed report that explains the condition of the land at Burr Oak Cemetery and to the extent he has numbers, some estimates, for it's gonna cost to fix the problems on the land," said James Geoly, receiver's attorney.

The receiver's attorney expects the numbers to be ready by the next status hearing set for August 24.
