August 31, 2009 (CHICAGO) --A Chicago resident has been charged in a scheme to loot the bank account of a McHenry County resident. Thirty-year-old Luevell Chester is charged with theft and identity theft. Over a period of more than two years Chester allegedly stole $51,000 from the victim's account.
Chester is accused of electronically transferring the money to pay her own debts, including mortgage, cell phone and credit card bills.
Chester was arrested last week. She is being held on $200,000 bond.
