Two 11-year-olds charged for Joliet fire

Two 11-year-old girls are charged with arson for allegedly starting the fire that destroyed a building a tire recycling company in Joliet. The fire started late Sunday night in the warehouse of tire grinder transporters.

The Herald News reports the two girls were playing with a lighter and lit some paper on fire, which quickly spread.

The fire burned rapidly.

No one was hurt.

The two girls were released to their parents after their arrests.
