Man charged in 2008 murder

A 23-year-old Chicago man has been arrested in California in connection with the murder of a man picking up his infant son.Jarrell Griffin, 23, of Chicago's South Side, was arrested in Oakland, Calif., in connection with the Sept. 30, 2008 murder of Keyon Sharp, 24.

Sharp was in the 900-block of W. 115th Place around 8 p.m. that day when he was shot and killed sitting in his car.

Griffin has been charged with first-degree murder after an arrest warrant was first issued in April. Griffin was found after "America's Most Wanted" posted the story and got a tip on its Web site. Griffin was arrested in Oakland at a relative's house August 25. He was extradited to Illinois and charged over the weekend.
