Friday is 'Laugh Out Loud' Day in Chicago

September 16, 2009 (CHICAGO) With the backing of Mayor Daley, The Goodman has declared Friday "Laugh Out Loud" Day in Chicago.

The idea is to take a laughter break sometime that day and to promote "Animal Crackers," The Goodman's new musical comedy inspired by the Marx Brothers. The cast will give a sneak peak of the show at noon at the Macy's on State Street.

And "Groucho" will be on the prowl in the Loop as he makes his way to the theater for opening night.

Tickets to Animal Crackers ($25 - $76) are currently on sale at GoodmanTheatre.org.
