Investigators say he may be responsible for up to three dozen burglars in nine suburbs and one town in northwest Indiana. Cash was taken from all of the salons but not hair equipment.
Silva is being held in $150,000 bond.
Man suspected in string of salon burglaries
September 29, 2009 Police say 43-year-old Kenneth Silva of South Holland was arrested in New Lenox after he broke into a salon last Thursday.
