Eleven Chicago students are facing misdemeanor charges following a fight inside a far South Side high school. The fight broke out Friday morning at Corliss High School on East 103rd Street.

Chicago police say the fight was a continuation of an incident on Thursday when a male student allegedly pushed or hit a female student.

On Friday, the male student and 2 friends were confronted by several other students at the school.

School security guards broke up the fight and no one was injured.

Nine students are charged with battery. Two are charged with disorderly conduct.
