We looked at two organizations focused on health challenges and talked about their positive focus and dedications to service at the highest levels. The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy. We talked about "Care. Cure. Comedy. Chicago." a Christopher & Dana Reeve Chicago Chapter Benefit at the House of Blues October 15, 2009 featuring Caroline Rhea and Costaki Economopoulos. We also focused on the Family Health Partnership Clinic which provides quality health care to the residents of McHenry County, Illinois. Operating with a committed group of volunteer physicians who work alongside a dedicated staff, it serves the uninsured and underinsured population of the county. We talked about the upcoming Care4 Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk on October 25th. To get more info visit www.hpclinic.org.
