Freeze Warning for Chicago area

Temps in the 20's in some areas
October 10, 2009 (CHICAGO) On Saturday temperatures struggled to get out of the 40's and people were bundling up. ABC7 Meteorologist Phil Schwarz says this is very abnormal. Normal high temperatures this time of year are around 65 degrees.

We actually reached the freezing mark Friday night into Saturday morning and it promises to be even colder overnight.

A freeze warning is in effect for the entire ABC7 area and it remains in effect until 9:00AM Sunday morning.

We're expecting a low of 30 here in Chicago, but it will be even colder in the western suburbs.
