Operation Support Our Troops Illinois

(News Release) Operation Support Our Troops Illinois in desperate need of items to fill 5,000 Christmas Stockings bound for our deployed troops. There is currently a shortage of basic items for the stockings. Mechanical Pencils, AA and AAA Batteries, Mints and Holiday Candy, Candy Canes, Individually wrapped beef jerky and slim jims, individual bags of nuts/fruit snacks, individually wrapped Twizzlers, New CD's and DVD's, ITUNES Gift Cards, small crossword or other puzzle books. To insure the stockings arrive in time for the holidays the shipment must be made by October 31. Normally by this time there a sufficient amount of items to fill the stockings but do to circumstances, the economy, the lack of concern about the war donations are at an all time low.
