Ill. AG suing home security co.

October 28, 2009 Madigan says Pinnacle's door-to-door sales team targeted current customers of other rival home security services. Then the sales representatives allegedly talked unsuspecting customers into signing another security contract.

Pinnacle security, which is based in Utah, has issued a statement saying, "We have a high code of conduct that we hold our sales reps to. Any misrepresentation voiced by a consumer is handled seriously and taken on a case by case basis.

"We have/will issue warnings, fines, and firings if the code of conduct isn't or wasn't followed."
