PAWS Chicago Fur Ball

November 13, 2009 5:23:13 AM PST
The Eighth Annual PAWS Chicago Fur Ball, Chicago's pet-friendly black-tie gala, is expected to draw at least 700 guests, many escorted by their canine (and a few brave feline) companions, to raise money for Chicago's homeless pets. Lucky dogs in attendance will be treated to a doggie buffet, animal communicator and dog spa, complete with an animal masseuse. Their human companions will delight in the silent and live auctions with one-of-a-kind items, raffle, dancing and dinner buffet.

In September 2007, PAWS Chicago opened a state-of-the-art, cageless, No Kill Adoption & Humane Center in Lincoln Park. PAWS Chicago (Pets Are Worth Saving) is the city's largest No Kill humane organization. Presented by A. Marek Fine Jewelry and The Drake Hotel, the Eighth Annual PAWS Chicago Fur Ball will raise funds to support the organization's ongoing efforts to alleviate our city's tragic pet overpopulation problem.
