The Indiana Department of Transportation says they decided to close the bridge there after an inspection found there was significant corrosion of the bridge. Transportation officials will now re-inspect the bridge area to make sure it's safe.
Cline Bridge to be closed 6 weeks
November 13, 2009 A four-mile stretch of Cline Avenue has been closed between Calumet Avenue in Hammond and Michigan Avenue in East Chicago.
