November 13, 2009 (CHICAGO) --A series of break-ins has Chicago police telling several North Side businesses to be alert. Two jewelry stores and other businesses were targeted between August 24 and Monday. Police say as employees put jewelry into the safe for the night, three or four men would pry open the doors, grab the merchandise and run away.
Police say the suspects were wearing black ski masks, so the employees did not get good descriptions. No one was hurt.
