Vicks recalls nasal spray

November 19, 2009 Proctor and Gamble says the bacteria b. cepacia has been found in a small amount of its Vicks Sinex spray. The company is recalling 120,000 bottles of the nasal spray in the U.S., Germany and the United Kingdom.

In the United States, the recall includes Vicks Sinex Vapospray 12-hour Decongestant Ultra Fine Mist.

No illnesses have been reported. But the bacteria can cause serious infections.
