November 26, 2009 (CHICAGO) --Chicago's Christian Industrial League was working Thursday to help families have a Happy Thanksgiving. The organization was serving a traditional, homemade meal at its cafeteria on the West Side.
The League has been around since 1909. It helps men, women, and families dealing with such issues as poverty, violence and unemployment.
Food service began at approximately 9:30 a.m. Thursday and continued until 12 p.m.
