Cyber Monday may not distract employees

November 29, 2009 (CHICAGO) Accountemps reveals its research shows most buying is done outside the office, and those who do shop at work won't spend that much time doing it.

This year, shoppers can expect big discounts, limited-time web-only deals and free shipping. Retailers are also using sites like Facebook and Twitter to attract consumers.

Nevertheless, some people ABC7 spoke with didn't plan to shop online.

"Can't see it, and if you don't know how it looks like, and how it fits, and I don't understand how people do that," Leslie Shores said.

In spite of that, web analysts are reporting people are buying more items online with each purchase.

Shopping on Black Friday was up slightly this year over last year.
