Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois and Macy's worked together to help Beatrice who is a freshman at Lakeview high School.
Dixon has a life threatening kidney condition and is waiting for a kidney transplant. Her Make A Wish was filled with a day of pampering and shopping. Some of her day was spent at the makeup counter.
Beatrice says she hopes to one day be a police officer. She's inspired by the officers who are at her school because she says they're kind and protect people.
"At school every morning, every fourth kid in a group, the fourth child, they get checked so the school can be safe," said Beatrice Dixon.
After Beatrice was done with her makeup makeover, she modeled some of the clothes and other goodies she found.
