Recipe: Lemon Cookies
1/2 cup crisco
3/4 cup white sugar
1 3/4 c. all purpose sifted flour
1 egg beaten
3/4 t. cream of tartar
3/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1/2 t. lemon extract
Combine all ingredients blend thoroughly roll into balls and flatten with a fork. Bake at 375 degrees until light golden brown.
