Tracy's Sugared Pecans

"I'm not a great cook, however, I really do like to bake," Tracy says. "And this is a really really easy recipe."

2 lbs pecans

Mix together:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

    Mix together until frothy:

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp. water

PREHEAT OVEN TO 225 DEGREES. Pour the liquid mixture of egg white and water, over the pecans and stir well. Then stir in your dry ingredients. Once you have everything mixed together, pour the pecans onto a greased cookie sheet. BAKE one hour at 225degrees. Turn every 15 minutes so the pecans do not burn.

"Once everything cools, you can package them up in fun little baskets and boxes and give as gifts!" Tracy adds. "But, you may end up keeping a lot for yourself. Once you start eating these, it is very hard to stop!"
