Study: Ill. ranks first in rural roads

A new study that looks at traffic and road conditions nationwide is out.Reason Foundation's annual highway report analyzes congestion, pavements, fatalities and deficient bridges.

Illinois ranked first, with no rural interstate roads in poor condition, and sixth with a relatively low number of bridges in bad shape.

Illinois comes in 15th in highway fatalities.
