A 6-year-old boy with an inoperable brain tumor enjoyed a surprise visit from Santa and lots of neighbors. Carter Kettner is a hero in northwest suburban Huntley.

His street in his subdivision has even been re-named in his honor.

Carter enjoyed seeing family and friends, but left no doubt about his favorite guest.

"It was totally awesome," said Carter.

QUESTION: "Who did you see? Who came?"

"Santa!" replied Carter.

"It never ceases to amaze us how wonderful everyone can be, especially during the holiday season," said Joe Kettner, father.

"It's gonna be a great Christmas. You don't know how many more you're gonna have, so ...," said Cinnamon Kettner.

Carter's mother said her Bible club apparently set up the party, which really was a surprise.

Her son loved the holiday treats.
