Besides repairing the water main and draining the flooded street, city crews were also trying to keep all that water from freezing over and leaving a sheet of ice on the street.
But cold temperatures froze the water, making it difficult to move the cars.
Another main broke in the area over the weekend near Lawrence and Narragansett.
