Too much TV watching linked to heart disease risk

January 12, 2010 A new study grouped participants into three categories: those who watched less than 2 hours of television a day, those who watched 2 to 4 hours, and those who watched more than 4 hours.

Findings show every hour of daily TV watching may raise the risk of dying from cardiovascular diseases by as much as 18 percent.
