Police say the boy's mother thought he was at an after school program Friday, January 15 and went to pick him up at 4:05 p.m.
According to authorities, the boy did not have his after school program Friday and was no longer at school.
A neighbor reportedly saw the boy on the Christiana side of Tonti School playing with three other unknown children at approximately 1:45 p.m. Friday.
Miguel Bautista attends karate class each evening at 5 p.m., but he failed to show up Friday.
He is described as a white Hispanic male, 4ft. 3 inches tall, weighing 60 lbs. with brown eyes and black crew-cut hair with an olive complexion.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Chicago police.
