A Wisconsin man charged with stabbing a fellow trucker to death on the Edens Expressway appeared in court Tuesday.Illinois State Police say 49-year-old David Seddon of Wisconsin is charged with first-degree murder in the case. Seddon was arrested early Monday morning at 103rd and Woodlawn when he showed up with his truck at the gate.
Alan Lauritzen, 40, was found on the side of the expressway near Tower Road Friday morning. In court Tuesday, prosectuors said Lauritzen was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen, chest and arm.
Apparently, the altercation began because he was tailgating Seddon and the two began to argue over the CB radio.
