Chrysler has recalled 2010 models of the Sebring, Dodge Avenger, RAM, Nitro and Jeep Grand Cherokee because of a defective part that could cause brake failure. No accidents relating to the brakes have been reported, but the automaker is working with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on the recall.

To remedy the situation, Chrysler will replace the brake booster input rod retaining clip free of charge. Owners may contact Chrysler at 1 800 853- 1403.
