The boy has not been identified because he's a juvenile. He faces charges of domestic battery and possession of a stolen vehicle.
In 2009, the boy was convicted of impersonating a police officer. He made headlines after spending the day on patrol with an officer. Also last year, he pretended to be an adult to steal a Lexus from a car dealership. He was given three years probation for both cases.
In September, a judge ruled the boy violated probation by not being home during court-ordered visits. He was recently released from the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center.
