Inmate who tried to escape pleads guilty

January 22, 2010 (CHICAGO) Travis Copeland, 19, tried to escape by breaking through bulletproof glass at the Lake County courthouse last Wednesday. He ran down the courthouse skyway over Washington Street. When deputies surrounded him, he tried but failed to get through the glass.

Instead, Copeland smacked his head and then laid on the ground while officers handcuffed him.
