Ind. police: Marijuana worth $1.2 million seized

Indiana state police are showing off 1,500 lbs. of marijuana seized in the last week.Authorities first found 500 lbs. of marijuana after receiving an anonymous tip. Then, a search warrant was obtained for a home at 546 Detroit Street in Hammond. That resulted in the discovery of 1,000 lbs. of pot.

Three men, one from Hammond, Ind. and two from Chicago were arrested and charged with dealing marijuana.

The value of the recovered drugs is estimated at $1.2 million.
