A one-way ticket from Naperville to Chicago will increase to $5. A one-way ticket from Route 59 to Chicago will increase to $5.50.
Weekend passes will increase from $5 to $7. Weekend passes are good for unlimited rides on both Saturday and Sunday for all stations.
The penalty for onboard purchases will increase to $3 from $2. This penalty is not assessed on passengers who board at unmanned stations.
No fare increases will apply to the 10-ride or monthly pass tickets.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 8, on-duty agents at 76 outlying stations will accept payment for fares via credit card.
