Kossof allegedly "skimmed cash receipts of the business on numerous occasions in 2002, 2003 and 2004 and diverted the money for a variety of business and personal expenses," a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Authorities say an accountant did Kossof's taxes and that Kossof failed to tell the accountant about the omitted receipts.
