Police were called to 60th Street and South Kedzie early Saturday to investigate a report of shots fired. They saw a car matching the description of a dispatch report and tried to pull the driver over.
The driver, identified as Gutierrez, refused to stop and tried to get away but eventually crashed into a garage.
When police approached, she allegedly tried to drive away and struck an officer.
Police then tasered her when she resisted arrest.
