Sports leagues see fewer children signing up

February 15, 2010 (CHICAGO) ABC7's news partner the Daily Herald reports some baseball and softball leagues across the west and northwest suburbs are seeing an enrollment drop of up to 20 percent.

Some experts are blaming computer and video games saying the better children get at them. The less likely they'll want to go out and play ball.

Some coaches say the economy and tighter family budgets also play a role in the enrollment decline.
