Brett Zagorac, 27, is charged with molesting a 5-year-old Portage boy late last year.
Portage police say he was hired to tutor the boy after advertising on the craigslist web site under an alias.
Zagorac denies the charges.
In the past he's been accused of similar inappropriate behavior. In one case, charges were dropped when the alleged victim refused to testify. In a DuPage County case, he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
