Ralph Lawson, 26, of the 9300-block of S. Wallace, was taken into custody after police conducted a search warrant at his home and seized 12 cannabis plants, 5 loaded handguns, and over $11,000 in cash.
Lawson was charged with manufacturing and delivering cannabis within 1,000 feet of a school, production of cannabis, drug paraphernalia and failure to register a firearm.
The cannabis plants and seeds police seized are valued at $600.
Lawson appeared in bond court on Thursday.
