Peace on Earth Film Festival

February 27, 2010 WHAT: PEACE ON EARTH FILM FESTIVAL

The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs hosts the second annual Peace On Earth Film Festival. The festival features films that challenge perspectives on war, conflict, world politics, the environment, economics, and more, while presenting alternatives for peace, nonviolence, and social justice from diverse cultural perspectives. The festival will also welcome 600 Chicago Public School students and their teachers on opening day for films about nonviolent solutions and practices for our communities.

WHO: The PEACE ON EARTH FILM FESTIVAL is organized by Transcendence Global Media, a nonprofit organization working to change the public discourse on world peace.
